This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, obtain an official booking record, or act for a person in custody. Use the responsible public office directly for those matters.
Official Lancaster County routes
Use the office that holds the particular record. The Sheriff's Office and Lancaster County Prison are separate county departments. A police arrest post, a prison roster entry, and a court case file answer different questions, so one result should not be treated as a substitute for another.

These routes help distinguish official records from third-party pages. An arrest or booking is an accusation, not proof of guilt. Court disposition information is the appropriate next check when a case must be understood beyond the initial charge.
- For an official record or booking-photo request, start with the home page's records-request route and submit a focused written request to the proper custodian.
- For a warrant question, use the official route described on Sheriff's Most Wanted; a warrant listing is not proof of current custody.
- For recently published municipal arrest information, use the city links on the home page, then confirm county custody in the Prison locator where appropriate.
- For a court docket, filing, bond, or disposition, use UJS Case Search or the Lancaster Clerk of Courts.
- For a person sentenced to state custody, use the PA DOC Inmate and Parolee Locator.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP inmate locator or ICE detainee locator, which are separate from county custody.
